I was diagnosed with primary peritoneal cancer in August 2015 and have had two operations followed by chemotherapy over a period of three years. It became apparent that the chemotherapy wasn't working and on 31 October 2018 my consultant gave me the prognosis of a few months at best.

I have run throughout all my treatment and during the periods when I have lost my hair I can always be seen at parkrun running in brightly coloured wigs. Moors Valley Dorset is now my home parkrun and the core team decided to stage an event in celebration of my life. Do join us,  a coloured  wig would look great if you have got one.

Please support this worthwhile cause and help to spread awareness of this silent killer disease.
