Glits carols for Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity · 1 December 2020

Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity believes no child should face hospital alone. Every day, 500 seriously ill children face a life-changing hospital visit. Children tell us it can be frightening. Parents say they're sick with worry. We want to change this. With your support, we can. Are you in?

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

Over the last few Christmases, the members of Glits have come together merrily on the steps of the Dome in Edinburgh's George Street to sing carols in aid of the wonderful Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity.  It was a concert we all loved giving, despite the wind and rain, while collecting donations from generous shoppers and passing revellers.

This year we can't sing together but we didn't want to miss the chance to help children in hospital.  So, guided by our music director Moira Gibson and with technical support from Gordon Anderson, we've put together our first ever virtual recording, with tracks collected from individual members singing alone in their kitchens, sitting rooms, bedrooms - you get the picture!  It was a challenge but we have recorded two tracks and, who knows...? there might be more!

You can either head to our Facebook page or  COPY AND PASTE the YouTube link below to listen to God Rest You Merry Gentlemen and the Sussex Carol and then, please make a donation to this important cause.
