A team of volunteers will be heading out to Uganda in summer 2023 to assist with transforming an empty field at a local school into an exciting new playgrounds bursting with colour and fun, leaving a legacy for children to learn and develop essential life skills and nurture their physical, psychological and social development through the language they know best - Play!

Hey Everyone!!


Next August, I will be volunteering at a local community school in Uganda for 2 weeks. I will be part of a team transforming an empty field into a fun and exciting playground for the children. 


As well as helping to build the playground I will be taking part in creative play sessions with the children, which will help develop their problem solving skills, creativity and imagination. This is to ensure the team and I make the biggest impact we can on the school and children.


I am very grateful for this opportunity to make an impact on the lives of these children and you can make an impact on them too! For the next few months i will be fundraising to reach my target of £1350, any donation is greatly appreciated and this will go towards materials for the playground, local employees in Uganda who build playgrounds all year round and also for future playgrounds.
