On the 1st May 2017 Gloria was handing water out at mile 3 with Age UK, helping support the runners taking part in the race.  Unfortunately later that day Gloria became unwell and passed away due to a heart attack.  This was a huge shock to our family and has left a big hole in our lives and many others.  Gloria was the life and soul and touched many peoples lifes.  She certainly was Gloria by name, glorious by nature.

To honor Gloria, friends and family will be running the same race again this year and will be running for a charity that was very close to her.
