The charity I work for has a brilliant programme called Pavement Project. We train workers in poor communities and provide them with a green bag of tried and tested counselling resources. These resources  help children to talk about their fears, worries and hurts, and then help them to find new hope for the future. I'm raising money to sponsor one of these 'green bags of hope' to bring healing to children living on the streets, in shelters or otherwise at risk in places like Brazil, India, Kenya and DRC.

I have seen these bags in action in Brazil, and in the hands of a skilled counsellor, they truly help children talk about their problems and feel better about themselves afterwards.

I'll be raising money, along with my colleagues, through a bake sale at the office. Any requests or cakes needed, just let me know.
