Graeme Bruce is raising money for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity

Team: Race from Lockdown

Race from Lockdown · 14 May 2021

We are Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, a charity providing critical medical care by land and air, across our communities. We’re here when you need us most. But we can’t do this without your help. As a registered charity, we rely entirely on donations and support from our local communities.

Story

To raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance teams of up to 6 people from across Defence Digital Ops HQ, supported by CGI and their partners are competing in a virtual race from Lockdown. Teams will race approximately 660 miles within the space of 2 weeks. The winning team will be the team who reaches the John O'Groats first, or the team closest to it!! Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire and surrounding counties. It needs to raise £3.75m a year to continue saving lives, but is not directly funded by the Government and receives no national Lottery funding, so relies on generous public donations.
