I am taking part in the Great North Run to raise vital funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This Charity is very close to my heart as my own son, Dominic was diagnosed with having the condition of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, last year.

This condition is devastating to not only the individuals having to live with this condition but also their families too. This is why we have set up our own family fund with the charity MDUK - Dominic's Sunshine Trust to help raise funds, for not only our own child but for other children living with this awful condition. Your funds will not only help create more research but look to find a cure to essentially save my sons life.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK do vital work in funding pioneering research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions.All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated.
