Story
During the lockdown, one of my son's best friends was incredibly sick - he was 8 years old and received some wonderful care at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Seeing him back at school, fit and healthy, playing with all the other kids made me want to do something for the hospital and show my support for the family who clearly had a tough time with their little boy.
During the lockdown, I grew a goatee; it's not very impressive but it's the most hair that I've ever grown on my face. I'm very proud of it. My son loves it so much he has given it a name. And my wife hates it.
But it's gotta go. It's started to malt, it curls up inside a mask and I've started to feel it on my chest (that's a weird feeling).
So, if I hit £250 in donations, I'm going to shave it off. Simple as that. You get to see me clean-shaven again AND support an incredible charity. Thank you.
