Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have chosen this charity as we received help when my better half went into labour in January  28 years ago and after many days of heavy snow all the roads were blocked.  We had to have the help to get to the maternity hospital. We also received the help from the fire brigade , local high school and the  flying consultants (not a pop group) that were brought in.  (It appears that I only had a small part in the event. ) We never know when we will require the help of this wonderful service. It now seems a great time to raise money for this cause as both my sons made me and Deb very proud of them when they graduated from UNI. This made me open my mouth and say that I wanted to do something to make my sons proud of me and ended up saying that I would do a half marathon.  This is the man whose only idea of running was to run out of excuses to get out of doing PT at every school I attended  and I went to 10 of them!!
