This December, celebrate the best of 2020's pop music with the extremely extra Golden Bop Awards, taking place on Electric Angels radio this Christmas.

The 26 prizes - which range from Best Megabanger to Best Reinvention And/Or Comeback - will be decided by your votes, all in the name of good fun, and raising money for a vital cause.

As Covid restrictions remain across the UK, akt has continued to see a high volume of young people needing support, either because they’re homeless or because their living situation at home is becoming increasingly volatile. They’ve seen a 118% increase in new referrals from April – August this year, compared to the same period last year. akt are dedicated to being there for these young people, offering national virtual support via Live web chat, email, and telephone.

To vote in the Golden Bop Awards, check back on the afternoon of December 10.

The results will be announced on Christmas Eve, December 24, 9-11:30am; except the all-important Single of the Year - which will get its own dedicated countdown show on Bank Holiday Monday, December 28.
