D-DAY 80 - 6 JUNE 2024

In honour of the late Mr Harry Billinge MBE.

The Mission:

Raise £50,000 before the 6th June 2024.

Harry tirelessly fundraised & raised £50,000 to support the creation of The British Normandy Memorial

In the lead up to D-Day 80 it would be truly fitting to raise an additional £50,000 in Harry’s name to support the creation of an education centre, on site, so future generations always have the opportunity to remember Harry’s generation

The British Normandy Memorial stands in a place where history was shaped. On the columns of the Memorial, constructed on a hillside above Gold Beach, are inscribed the names of 22,442 servicemen and women who lost their lives on D-Day and during The Battle of Normandy.

For generations to come, people will be able to visit the Memorial to reflect and to remember. Your support will help us to protect and preserve the Memorial so that future generations will never forget the immense debt we owe those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

By donating you will be forever part of the lasting legacy of The British Normandy Memorial so future generations will never forget the sacrifice of this generation
