Hi, I'm Roger. I am a 73 year old RAF aircrew veteran whose every day since 1979 has been a gift since on 19 th April that year my aircraft crashed and I found myself trapped inside a dark twisted fuselage as it sank to the bottom of the South China Sea..I should not have survived, but I did, some might say by divine intervention, and now I have time and resources I would like to do something good, so I am going to walk the North Coast 500 , when circumstances allow, and in favour of RNLI and DOGS TRUST.

Hundreds of dogs need forever homes and in the meantime someone has to look after them. and that costs money!!

This is in aid of charity and dedicated to everyone I have met over the last 73 years, even those who wish I hadn't.

If for some reason I cannot make Scotland I will still walk the 500 locally. Can't be any fairer than that.
