Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

On Friday 16th December 2016, my beautiful wife of only four months, collapsed whilst at work in London, with a massive brain haemorrhage. The surgeons said that she probably had this from birth, and it could have gone at any time.  What made it even harder to cope with was, the fact that sues father passed away from a brain tumour only three years ago. When I arrived at A and E at kings College hospital, I was informed, that Sue wasn't going to survive. However thanks to the CCU, staff and amazing equipment, sue has survived. Even though the family had to put off Christmas, we had the best present ever. Sue will need a lot of care, and it will take time, but she will get back to her old self, when unfortunately others are not as lucky. This is why I am focusing on raising money for this amazing hospital and unit. The target is £2000, as this is what a bed costs per day (without medical staff or equipment). I will be arranging various events over the coming months, so please support me, sue and everyone at kings College hospital critical care unit. 👍😘
