On 24th January 2021 Emma sadly passed away after a brave fight with breast cancer. She was an integral part of our "crew" growing up and you could never meet a more supportive friend.

The Beatson Cancer Charity in Glasgow looked after her so well while she was unwell. If you can, please donate to this great charity.

On 7th August I shall be taking part in the Tour des stations Ultrafondo road cycling event in her memory here in Valais, Switzerland. It is 242km with an elevation gain of 8848m (the height of Mount Everest!) I am hoping to achieve it under 16 hours but the time does not really matter. Finishing the race will be satisfying and a real challenge.
