In August, a group of Gordon's family, friends and colleagues will be taking on South Wales biggest peak, Pen y Fan, in celebration of his life and to promote physical and mental health and wellbeing, particularly in the face of bereavement.
‘Gordon’s Walk’ was the idea of Neil Harris who wanted to take on a challenge with the aim of doubling the funds that have already been raised for British Heart Foundation. He roped in Rachel (Gordon's sister) and David (Gordon's fiancé), and so Gordon's Walk was created.
To sign up for the walk or to find out more information, please email GordonsWalkBHF@gmail.com for details.
The walk takes place on Saturday 3 August. It's 4 miles with a 550m climb and should take around 3 hours. You'll receive a t-shirt and we'll provide plenty of information, advice and encouragement to help your preparation and fundraising in the run up to the event.
We also want to promote physical and mental health and wellbeing, particularly in the face of bereavement.
