For a bit of background on why we've chosen this charity:
“In 2020 my mum Irene was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and
in the same year so was Kathy my mother-in-law.
This overwhelming, progressive disease increasingly
erases everything that makes you who you are, from your personality,
rationality, and memories to your physical abilities, then eventually
your capability to function at all.
We are taking this challenge so we can raise as money to
aid research into the cause, treatment and one day a cure for this
disease.” Deb Humphreys
