Story

Gough & Kelly have chosen to support Martin House Children's Hospice to help provide family-led care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

The team will take on various challenges to raise vital funds for Martin House:

National Three Peaks Challenge On Friday 26th August, a team of plucky trekkers will climb the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, to help raise some more funds for the families at Martin House – they are:

  • Michael Stewart
  • Jonathan Jakeman
  • Russell Mungovin
  • Lee Wright
  • Craig Weston
  • Stuart White
  • Dean Barratt
  • Ben Markland
  • Sam Holroyd
  • Kyle Tasker

Dragon Boat Race(s!) The GK Bees took to the water and took on not one, but two Dragon Boat Race's to raise vital funds for Martin House. July 10th 2022, saw a team battle it out on the River Ouse, whilst July 17th 2022 saw another team of Bees row valiantly at Roundhay Park for Martin House's very own DBR!

Martin House is a place where children, young people and their families can come to stay from time to time along their journey and find support, rest and practical help. It is a place of love and understanding, a peaceful place but one that can also have a lively, friendly atmosphere, where children and their families can enjoy the best quality of life.

Martin House is often described as a lifeline for many families.
