During July and August this year I will attempt to hike solo across the top of the Pyrenees mountain range in Spain from the Mediterranean sea to the Atlantic. Carrying everything I need on my back I want to try making this brutal 820km hike up and down mountains, from one side of Spain to the other to raise money for St Clare Hospice.  St Clare Hospice is an amazing charity with incredible staff who provide end of life care for terminally ill people. In 2015 I used to take my mum to their weekly day centre and then towards then end she spent 14 days in their 24h specialist support ward. St Clare Hospice is a charity without government financial support and with your help I want to do what I can to help support them.

I have wanted to do this hike for the last few years but haven't been well enough but now is the time! Although I'm still not 100% I'm going to give it my best try and any support you can give to help St Clare continue with their amazing work will be truly appreciated so thank you!

Durante julio y agosto de este año intentaré caminar solo por la cordillera de los Pirineos en España desde el mar Mediterráneo hasta el Atlántico siguiendo el GR11.  Lo haré para recaudar dinero para el Hospicio de Santa Clara. St Clare Hospice es una organización benéfica increíble con un personal increíble que proporciona atención al final de la vida a las personas con enfermedades terminales. En 2015, desgraciadamente, mi madre tuvo que usar sus servicios y me gustaría hacer esta desafío para animar gente a donar para esta causa.   

St Clare Hospice es una organización benéfica sin apoyo financiero del gobierno y sin ánimo de lucro. Con mi desafío y vuestra ayuda, pretendo recaudar fondos para que puedan seguir llevando a cabo su actividad, y así asistir a los  enfermos terminales y sus familias, tal y como hicieron con mi madre y conmigo
