Story
In June 2020 a former Swindon Storm player and Captain, Greg Roscow sadly decide to take his own life. This had a massive impact on the team and everyone that knew him.
Through this tragedy the team has decided to spend the next few years raising awareness around mental health and in particular men's mental health. To do this we are partnering with Swindon MIND a local mental health charity.
To start the journey we are holding a memorial game and charity dinner in October and to help support us we are asking for donations.
Your donation will help Swindon MIND provide a lifeline. It could help support respite, support and understanding to people in mental distress. It could enable them to support life-changing projects and services offered to people or help someone in desperate need to receive our information booklets helping people to deal with loneliness, depression or rebuilding their lives after a crisis.
It's time to break the stigma surrounding mental health and try and prevent this from happening to someone else we know and love.
Just remember it's ok not to be ok.
