When i joined my school last year, a member of staff asked me if I would run a marathon for a charity that they support. Despite loving running, I have never ran a marathon before! I have been training this summer to prepare. I have a charity space to run the Virtual London Marathon in October and to mark the occasion with an event, I will be running the Brandon TRAIL marathon on the same day!

The charity that I will be fundraising for is called Education Exchange. It is a small, family run charity that has been in existence since 2003. They work in Kenya to support schools and provide educational opportunities. In partnership with local organisations, they support education and training, health and the relief of poverty. One of their projects is to provide shelter and a safe environment to house children. 🏠
