It is an absolute privilege to be selected to run the 2023 London Marathon for the British Heart Foundation.  The work they do is so incredibly important, from research into new treatments for heart attacks, to campaigning for public access defibrilators, to recent work looking into the causes of vascular dementia to better determine how to treat and prevent it.  Like so many people, these issues have affected my family and friends, and I am honoured to have the chance to raise money for further research and campaigns.

This will be my third London Marathon, and I am hoping to make it my most successful one yet both in terms of time taken to complete the race, and amount raised.  I have promised to raise £3,000 in donations to help save and improve the lives of millions suffering from heart and circulatory diseases.  Anything you can give would be very much appreciated - not only by me, but also by those who benefit from the vital work the British Heart Foundation does
