Hello everyone,

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm running the London marathon on 2nd October 2022 (eeekkkkk!!!). I will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support❤️

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. 

The London marathon has always been on my bucket list and I cannot believe I’ve been so so lucky to have a place for the 2022 run! Every year I watch the race at home and wish to be there doing such an incredible thing and I can’t wait to get my head down and do the training this summer and fundraise for such an amazing charity like the BHF⭐️ As a type 1 diabetic this is something that always seemed more like a dream than a realistic achievement but I’m absolutely buzzing to go out there and prove to myself anything is possible. I feel absolutely filled with nerves and excitement all at once but I’m looking forward to both extremes of the physical and mental side of this challenge.
