Story
In June 2016, just one day before my mum and stepdad exchanged vows and promised each other a lifetime of love, we received devastating news—he was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That day was meant to be filled with joy, celebration, and the start of a new chapter, but instead, it became a fight against time.
Despite the prognosis, he faced every challenge with unwavering strength, determination, and love. He refused to let the disease define him, cherishing every moment and making memories with those he held dear. He showed us what true resilience looked like.
Six months later, in 2017, he passed away, leaving a huge hole in our lives. No one should have to endure what he did, and no family should have to say goodbye so soon. That’s why I’m raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK —to support those battling pancreatic cancer, fund vital research, and bring hope to families facing this cruel disease.
Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto.
💜Thank you so much for your support! 🙏
