Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On May 16th a team of Bethany Children's Trust supporters and myself, will climb Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain peak. We are taking up this challenge to raise money that will support projects in 5 African countries, making life better for children affected by extreme poverty, HIV & AIDS, disability and war. We aim to raise £20,000 as a team, and my personal target is £2000.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Bethany Children's Trust gets your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
To give you a better idea as to how monies raised could help bring transformation to children's lives, £5.00 could provide 3 hot meals for a child at a lunch club; £30.00 could give a family 2 rabbits (including hutches, etc) to breed for food and income generation; £65.00 could pay for surgery for a disabled child; £90.00 could enable a secondary school pupil to receive a year's schooling.
I have never attempted anything like this before, so please sponsor me, and encourage us as a team, now!
Great things are done when men and mountains meet.
