Story

Anybody who knows me well knows how bonkers it is that I’ve decided a to run a half marathon. PE was never my favourite subject!

My Nanny Barbara is living with Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia at the moment, and it’s really hit home just what a cruel disease it is. It doesn’t just affect her, but our whole family. It’s been so heartbreaking to see such a vivacious lady turn into one so frail, but also very humbling to see how amazing my family are. I think it’s so important that everybody affected gets the support that they need. I love my Nan and my whole family so much, and I thought it was time I took some action to help in a practical way!
