I am taking part in The Leith Dragon Boat Race to raise money for MND Scotland. This is in memory of my brother-in-law and friend Gordon MacVicar who sadly died in April 2011, less that a year after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Gordon loved boats and I'm sure he would have loved to take part in such an event, however, looking at the photos of last years race I suspect he could have built a more sea-worthy craft himself!
