We have been inspired to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon by my mum, Diana, who despite being virtually blind is still amazingly active. She goes to tai chi, paints (see attached by clicking on the icon at the top right of our photo) and has just upgraded her iPad for her talking books. 

We have seen the impact on her life over the last few years as her sight has gradually worsened. She only has very limited peripheral view and her condition means that can also vary day to day so doing many straightforward tasks that we all take for granted is very difficult and often frustrating. 

We are so proud of her determination to carry on and do as much as she can and the positivity she brings to her situation.
