Story
Hello everyone, June just gone my dear cousin Vicky Murray was diagnosed with terminal Cancer, not something you expect at the young age of 45. Vicky leaves behind three children and a loving family, Me and my daughter traveled to Liverpool to say our final goodbyes in the beautiful Hospice. We saw real life story’s that day that would absolutely break you and seeing what Cancer did to my cousin well you can only imagine. Vicky put up a tremendous fight but on the 17th June she slipped away.
Then we had more bad news Linda Bergquist was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer the evil of all evils when it comes to Cancer with only a 4% survival rate. Linda has been an integral part of my life for many years now, Linda was the glue to the family and everything she did was done with Love and a touch of class, I had the opportunity to go into Isle of Man Hospice and spend a little time with her, I got to hold her hand and tell her I loved her, which meant the world to me. Linda also lost her battle leaving behind her beloved husband Bobby four children and a large loving family. Cancer is horrific, it doesn’t care how old you are or how much you mean to others so we must fight back, now am no doctor or scientist but when heard of Relay for Life I thought I can do that. So on Saturday 23rd August I will be doing my part to raise money for Cancer Research, I start walking at 12 in the afternoon and I will walk as far as my legs will take me, the walk lasts for 24 hours, I would love to be able to do that but I just don’t know. But I can’t do it alone please support me and donate to this page and if your able to get down come and walk with me for a bit or light a candle, it’s going to be emotional. Thank you to everyone who donates money or cheers me on, now come on dig deep let’s smash this tougher, thank you xxx
