Just4Children are fundraising for a pioneering surgical technique called VBT (Vertebral Body Tethering) to treat 13 year old Amber for severe scoliosis (curvature of the spine).

Amber is the daughter of our good friends Kate and Harvey. She desperately needs this life changing operation which costs £45,000 and wanted to do my bit to try to help them raise the money needed. Even after the main operation in early June there will be follow up treatments to pay for, physio required etc. 

Amber is travelling to Germany for this pioneering operation as the only option available in the UK is full fusion where her vertebrae would be fused together to make one inflexible bone, restricting her growth and motion.
