I'm running in aid of the church's CAP centre which provides free counselling and support to people in debt.  It costs about £16,000 p.a. to run, which includes a contribution to Christians Against Poverty (CAP), the umbrella charity for CAP centres. The church provides budgeting systems to families crippled with debt while CAP central negotiates with their creditors. Together we provide a lifeline to help them out of their situation.  You can find out more about CAP at www.capuk.org.
