Graham Deakin is raising money for Rotherham Hospice
In memory of Alkison Deakin
Story
Nicola Deakin (Alison's daughter), Chris Deakin (Alison's son), Alison Betteridge (Alison's close friend) and myself (Alison's Husband) are taking part in the 2018 memory walk 'Glow with the Flow'
This is in gratitude for the care Rotherham Hospice gave to Alison in the final months of her live. They supported her in her wish to stay in her own home for as long as she could. When she could no longer be cared for at home she was admitted to the hospice where she spent her last week of her live. During that time she was given the such care and her every need was tended too.
She sadly passed away on 6th June 2015. Since that time we have raised funds to see that the same care as my wife received can be given to other people. We were so grateful for the wonderful staff and this is out thank you to them.
