Event: Glow with the Flow, on 21 June 2019
In memory of Alison Deakin
Glow with the Flow is back for our 3rd annual 10km at 10pm in memory night walk! This time.... we have some brand new surprises! Get ready for the brightest and most colourful event in Rotherham's calendar!

Story

Along with my daughter (Nicola Deakin), my son (Christopher Deakin), my sister (Mandy Slater), my brother-in-law (Brian Slater) Katy Batty (niece), Freddy Wilshire (Niece's partner) and Niece (Claire Temple) are taking part in the memory walk on 20th June to raise funds for Rotherham Hospice. This is to honour the memory of my wife Alison Deakin.

Rotherham Hospice cared and  nursed Alison in the last months of her life. The love, support and care that they gave to her means we are forever in their debt for all that they did for her and us her family.

We therefore ask for donations as we don our glitter and tutu's and walk to raise funds for this fantasticate institute who are devoted to giving card for the terminally ill.

All Alison's care and worries were addressed by the staff at the Hospice. The care and love they gave her in her final days made her passing so much easier to bear.

Rotherham Hospice is the only adult hospice that covers Rotherham, and has to raise over £2.7m a year just from donations and fundraising alone. This is where your help and support is vital.
