Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Dad's JustGiving page.
Graham Herrington was a happy and proud Black Country gentleman and industrialist who gave his whole working life to making the Black Country a more prosperous place, through the traditional local industries of steel and brickmaking.
He gave his spare time to local theatre, bringing pleasure to thousands through his many singing performances at Brierley Hill Civic Hall and various churches across the area.
Graham was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2011 and since that time has found support through the hardworking local branch of Parkinsons UK - Dudley & Dudley District, and the friendship of a great many people including the great local commedian Tommy Mundon (my Mum's cousin).
We are grateful to everyone for their friendship and love as time has gone on, but we know that funding has been challenging.
So we all wanted to help make a real difference, and we need your help. Without it, the group faces funding reductions that may bring it to a close, taking away the very support that is so necessary for people with Parkinsons, and their families, leading to social and personal isolation, loneliness and the greater risk of problems not being spotted early enough.
