Story
For those who know me, you'll be aware I've been trying and failing to enter London Marathon for years now!
It's Something I have wanted to do from being a teenager, but it was only in the last 10 years, when I was inspired by my cousin Clare Collins to attempt my first marathon in York, that I realised I could actually do it!
After completing York marathon, I've applied for London Marathon every year, and every year I didn't get in.
Please read below about the great work 'sense' do, they will explain it far better than I could. If you would like to support them, or encourage me in finally getting to fulfil one of my biggest ambitions, then please donate and/or leave a message to spur me on through the winter training.
I appreciate in these times, money is tight for everyone, but anything you can spare would be gratefully received and if you can't spare any cash, I'd still be happy to hear any positive messages to keep clocking up the miles.
Thankyou in advance
I'm fundraising for Sense, a charity that believes that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential. Their experts offer personalised support through their centres, holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. They are here for everyone who needs them, for as long as they need them – providing early intervention for children, helping young people access education, and supporting the transition into adulthood and beyond.
