Game 2 Cure is a way for gamers and game enthusiasts to unite against childhood cancer by taking on the ultimate challenge of continuously gaming for 12-hours.

Story

On my birthday weekend this year, I thought it would be fun to attempt a gaming challenge to raise money for Children With Cancer UK.

Starting at 9PM on Friday 26th February, I’ll be streaming myself playing the notoriously difficult samurai game Sekiro for the first time, for 12 hours continuously. I expect to be trolled! *Edit: When Sylvie wakes up on the Saturday morning, I’ll switch to the more family-friendly Untitled Goose Game for the final stretch. I know, this is a ridiculous plan. But it’s for a great cause...

Children With Cancer UK are a small charity that saw 40% of their funding disappear in 2020. They do amazing things, from paying for research into childhood cancers that would otherwise go unfunded, to supporting affected families. The charity is asking people to fundraise by gaming for 12 hours to mark the fact that 12 children are diagnosed with cancer every day.

So, come along and watch me get destroyed! And anything you’re able to donate will be really appreciated. Cheers!
