Story
Please help me raise funds for Naomi House and Jacksplace hospice. I am taking on the Clarendon Way Ultimate Challenge - walking from Winchester Cathedral to Salisbury Cathedral along the beautiful Clarendon Way through the night and turning round and walking back again - that's a whopping 52 miles!
One of my best mates Dave Taylor introduced me to this amazing cause - Naomi House provided palliative care for his son Benjamin 'Bubs'. Dave says' Naomi House and Jacksplace is in some ways a place no parent wants to be - especially for end of life care. However we can honestly say our time there was a beautiful experience. We were lovingly, pastorally and professionally enabled to say goodbye whiilst having fun! We would give anything to have more time with our special boy, but not many families can say they went swimming (every day) and met the then Duchess of Cambridge in the afternoon!
Long after Benjamin passed away we were still being cared for by way of counselling and sibling support. Thus brilliant place does not come cheap! That's why I would love to encourage you to get behind my friend Graham so that other families can experience the expertise and care that we did. It simply is an oasis, a place of love when everything else around doesn't make sense'
Please give generously, Graham
