Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am now volunteering as part of the Voluntary Service Organisation and in particular Restless Development. They are a Non Governmental Organisation who operate across 50 countries including India, Nepal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe on projects of international development. They are partially funded by the British Government and the Department for International Development but also require charitable donations. This is where I come in. 

As many of you will know I ran my first marathon in October and have decided as part of my fundraising campaign for Restless Development to run my own personal challenge.

From my parents home in the south of Scotland to my flat in Edinburgh is 27.1 miles (43.6km) and so I have decided run it. Perhaps slightly crazy, but those who know me will know that its not unlike me! 

I have a target of £400 to raise for this event. Any donations, large or small, would be greatly appreciated and are going to a great cause.

I will be visiting one of the project countries (unpaid) in February/March 2013.
