NICE is a leading UK charity transforming the lives of disabled children and adults who have movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s. We push the boundaries of their potential by teaching them through conductive education, new ways of controlling the effect of their condition.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Foolish though it may seem, in September I will be attempting to cycle the 300 miles from London to Paris, along with my twin brother Anthony, in support of The Foundation for Conductive Education.

I decided to support this Charity, of which my brother is Chair of the Trustees, to try and raise as much money as I can to help children and adults suffering from disabilities such as cerebral palsy, dyspraxia, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease, to try and live a normal life, and do all of the things that we, maybe, take for granted.  This is a challenge for me but nothing like the challenges that these people face every day.  I am grateful that I am fit enough to try and make a difference to their lives.

This is where, I hope, you come in - can you dig deep and sponsor me please?

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Foundation for Conductive Education will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Every penny that the Foundation receives is well spent - money that is desperately needed, and gratefully received.

I am looking forward to this challenge, but most of all I am looking forward to handing over a cheque to The Foundation - knowing what a difference it will make to so many lives.  I promise I will arrive inParis, even if it is horizontally and with no discernible sign of life!

Thank you in anticipation on behalf of the children who will benefit so much from your kindness.
