JMT seeks to partner with locally-initiated projects and initiatives, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa, with whom it has built lasting relationships. With a typical focus on education and training development, coupled with practical care, and underpinned by its Christian ethos.

Story

Dear family & friends

Thanks so much for visiting my fundraising page and supporting me in this walk; it's one I have wanted to do for years and the 5th anniversary of Jen's death seems a good time. It's 500 miles from the Pyrenees to Santaigo de Compostela & will take me 34 days.  See www.csj.org.uk for lots more detail and history of the route.

JMT is obviously very close to my heart and I have always wanted to do a fundraiser, but can't run marathons!  We  have some amazing projects on the go at the moment, most of which concern hungry, uneducated orphans and any donation will help enormously; but we are also helping fund training for Africans for ministry, providing Bible notes in Portugese in Mozambique and giving street children in Johannesburg and war orphans in Uganda some hope for the future. There are other projects too, so thank you so much for helping me along the camino.
