We have learnt through this pandemic the importance of our healthcare system. We've seen where it has succeeded, and we have seen where its weaknesses are. We need to innovate, effect change, and break the cycle so that we have a world-class healthcare system for a world-class region.
Join us and fundraise for the Grand River Hospital Foundation so that we can support Innovation in our health care here in Kitchener-Waterloo. We will start just south of Elora (Wilson's Flat #4 (South of Elora), 6285 8 Line W, West Montrose, ON N0B 2V0) at 8 am on May 29 (Changed from May 15 because of the COVID-19 Provincial Lockdown Rules), and paddle all the way down to the boat launch in front of the Freeport Campus (GRH). Feel free to join anywhere down the river.
Change starts with you. Let's support the technology sector for which our region is known, and support its implementation to help improve care for our friends and family.
Feel free to connect with us if you want to join in the effort! Bring your own craft, don't forget a paddle, and pack enough food and water for the 56km journey. This is about an 8 hour trek with a recreational kayak!
Grand River Hospital Foundation raises funds to help Grand River Hospital provide exceptional health care. With the support from generous donors and loyal community partnerships, Grand River Hospital Foundation is able to grant funds for medical equipment and technology; renovation projects; and local clinical and health research and education.
