My Grandadad My HERO

Bupa Great Woman's 10K Glasgow · 11 May 2014 ·
Thank you for taking time out to read my page it means a lot. On Easter Sunday the 12th April 2009 my Grandad lost his very brave fight with Myeloma. He fought this cancer for years and was still smiling even when he was in pain. He was a captain for RAF and was a very brave amazing man. I Loved my grandad so much and when he died a part of me died with him. He could light up a empty room he was that special. His Name was Michael Ross Robertson.
He died on Easter Sunday and we sadly had to burry him on his 70th Birthday 17th April 2009. He was a amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother,Friend.
My grandad became friends with everyone he met, he used to just start talking to anyone around him and within minutes they would become a friend. He was a very caring thoughtful man who cared about everyone.
He is my Hero without him i dont know where i be. He fought a very brave batte and still made sure everyone else around him was ok before thinking about himself. I miss him so so much and i wish he was still here.
No one could have a bad word about him he mean so much to everyone who met him. As soon as he walked into a room all you could do is smile, when he gave you a cuddle you felt so safe and loved that you never wanted to let go.
My mum and i are doing the Glasgow Woman 10 K run on May 11th 2014 in memory of our dad and grandad a man that was our Hero and still is. Myeloma was so caring with my gran and grandad and surported them and our family so much even when my grandad died. By raising money for them to be able for them to help another person and their family would mean so so much. We not the best runner and im sure my grandad would be laughing down on us on the day but we try our best and we go through the finshing line together for our hero.
Anything you could give would mean so so much to us even if it just a couple pounds a pound would go a long way for Myeloma UK for them to help another brave person fighting this horrible Cancer and hopfully we find a cure soon so no one else has to lose a love one from Cancer.
Thank you so much for reading our page
