Hi everyone! Welcome to this JustGiving page for The Grand Tour 2, a 24-hour gaming event that I'm holding to raise money for SpecialEffect! It's a sequel event to the first Grand Tour, another 24-hour event I held in August which raised £430! 

And I love the charity so much I'm going to do it again. And this time, we're going to raise even more money.

It's currently scheduled to take place from 7PM GMT on Friday 6th December, running to the same time the following day (Saturday 7th December).

Who are SpecialEffect? SpecialEffect are an amazing charity whose mission it is to bring games to everyone who wants to play them. This ranges from custom control solutions to the campaigning for accessibility options such as colourblind settings, subtitles and adjustable difficulty modes.

It was they who collaborated with Microsoft to develop the Xbox Adaptive Controller, which is infinitely cutsomisable to allow anyone to play games with all manner of buttons, switches and more.

And who are you? I'm Kit Harrison! I'm a Lead Performance, Compatibility and Accessibility QA Tester, and I'm incredibly passionate about making sure everyone has the ability to play the games they want to play. The hype train doesn't stop for anyone, and nobody should ever have to get off.

What will you be doing to support SpecialEffect? The event will take me through several games - both from my childhood and some modern multiplayer classics - and will finish once again with a Dungeons & Dragons one-shot campaign helmed by a likely extremely tired yours truly.

What's the rota?

We kick off with a mic check at 6:30pm on Friday 30 November. Riveting.

After this the plan is as follows:

7pm - 8pm Destiny 2: Gambit Warmup

8pm - 10pm Destiny 2: Eater of Worlds Raid

10pm - 12am Destiny 2: Spire of Stars Raid

12am - 6am Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Campaign

6am - 7am Elite Dangerous

7am - 8am Apex Legends

8am - 9am Overwatch

9am - 10am Battlefield V

10am - 1pm League of Legends

1pm - 2pm Rainbow Six Siege

2pm - 3pm Monster Prom

3pm - 7pm Dungeons & Dragons
