Ann Chandler died peacefully in York Hospital, surrounded as always by the chatter and love of her daughters. Wife of Bill, sister of Ruth, much loved mum of Kirstie, Katrina, Kathryn, Kate and the late David, besotted granny of Issi, Isaac, Sam, Xander and Caspar, loving great granny of Corinne and very dear, kind and generous relative or friend to so many others, she will be very much missed.

Please keep Granny Annie in your thoughts (perhaps put on your finest hand-knitted socks or make, share or enjoy some tasty baking!) on March 4th when a private service will be held. There will be a livestream of the service available, please contact the family for details.

We are asking that those who would like to, rather than sending flowers, make a donation to St Leonard's Hospice - a charity that Ann supported for many years.
