Even before Steve's record attempt, the lure of the Himalayas and the mountain Everest has fascinated me. Following Steve's story as both a colleague and friend, from when he broke his neck, right up until he completed the 20hr round trip summit of Denali has been inspirational. To combine both my dream of visiting the Nepalese mountains and to support Steve on his own dream of Project7in4 was an opportunity too good to refuse.
