Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Grantham Police Cadets decided to raise money for BEAT after one of our cadets read an article on how there had been a rise in eating disorder cases throughout the pandemic. The NHS struggles to keep up with demand so by helping this charity, we are helping those get the support they need before it's too late.

The cadets did their research and found BEAT. Eating disorders can take lives and we want to do what we can to help. Raising awareness of BEAT itself will work wonders so even if all you can do is share the link, you too could be saving a life.

One of our cadet leaders struggled with the early signs of an eating disorder as a teenager. This had a significant impact on their life and their friendships. Luckily this was caught early on and they recovered so this makes our fundraiser something even closer to our hearts.

Please help us, where you can.
