Liverpool Cathedral Abseil · 10 August 2013 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

"Hey Grax. I think you should add Abseiling down Liverpool Cathedral for your 101 Things in 1001 Days list".

That's how it all started back in the Summer of 2012. A challenge from a friend of a friend for my 101 Things in 1001 Days list. It's like a bucket list, but I'm not planning on going just yet.

Fortunately the fine folks at the Stroke Association are able to help me with this challenge. And in return I will raise as much money as I can in support of the Stroke Association that does amazing work helping the 150,000 people a year across the UK that suffer. A stroke (where blood is cut off from the brain and brain cell either get damaged or die off) can affect anybody, even young children.

So please dig deep and donate now. And please share this page to anyone and everyone you know.

Thank you.
