We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My husband and I are running the Edinburgh Men's 10K along with my amazing colleagues John, Jeff and Stuart from Borland Insurance Brokers to raise funds for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

JDRF fund research to cure, treat and prevent Type 1.  They work with the Government, academia and industry to accelerate research in the UK and within healthcare policy to ensure that the outcomes of research are delivered to people with Type 1 in the UK.

Our little boy Grayson was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 23rd December 2020 aged 19 months, a day that will live with us forever and life has never been the same again.

Grayson has dealt with this diagnosis like a champ, he is our hero and we want to raise as much funds as we possibly can so that JDRF can continue their research into Type 1.
