I have ran the Great North Run 16 times with my younger brother Scott. Our dad was sent to Newcastle during the war and we have lots of family there, so running in Newcastle was close to both our hearts. Sadly in January 2025 Scott lost his life to prostate cancer. This years race will be a difficult one, but one that I will be proud to do in his memory.
