I'm running the Great North Run for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's one dad, partner, brother, grandad, or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Most of you know my dad got diagnosed last June, and since then it’s been eye-opening to see how many friends and family members were encouraged to go for their PSA tests. Some had a diagnosis, and others required further investigation and monitoring. Like any cancer the sooner you act the easier it is to treat!

So please, anyone reading this tell your dads, brothers, husbands, grandads if they are over 50 and never had a PSA test - get it booked!
