Story
I'm starting training now, (September 2025) to run the 2026 Great North Run for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's one dad, partner, brother, grandad, or mate. And one of those dads was my Dad, taken far before his time . Simply because he had no idea he had prostate cancer - until it was discovered too late to treat.
I'm raising money - £100 for every mile of the Great North Run half marathon - to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
Appreciating that we are all having to make our pennies go yet further, I'd be hugely grateful if you could find a few shillings between now and this time next year, to help me reach my fundraising goal. Thank you so much.
